dc.description.abstract© 2018, Athenea Digital.In this article, we intend to comprehend the possible relations between ideology and memory, through the narratives told by homeless people. Therefore, we used as methodological resource, some interviews with oral stories. In total, eight people participated in the research. During the interviews, we respected the chroniclers's concern about keeping the relation with events in their lifes they consider relevant. We asked them at a time to tell some street's memories, and at other time, to tell us the story of their lifes. It was recurrent in the stories, the presence of some symbolic ' contente of ideological nature. At some instance, we noticed that memory presents an ideological dimension, which displayed in the narratives through the memories or through the oblivion. Therefore, the homeless conditions strongly affects in these people's memory construction.
