The technical-methodological procedures were a systematic approach through the evaluation of bibliographic and documentary data from ECLAC and in the academic field of ESS. The results revealed that ECLAC would have the technical, human and material capacity to contribute to the advances in ESS studies, quantifying, qualifying and enhancing social efficiency in Latin American economic development.
