dc.description.abstract© 2017 AISTI.Video content has become a frequent means of communication on the web and is generated and consumed all the time through websites. Therefore, a study to determine what guidelines should be followed to create efficient designs for these websites is necessary. This paper presents a comparative study of the Nielsen's heuristic evaluation applied to five video websites (Netflix, VideoBrasil Platform, Video@RNP, Vimeo and YouTube) in order to find suitable guidelines and recommendations to create efficient video content user interfaces according to the usability approach.
