O uso neotestamentário do contexto do Antigo Testamento : uma aplicação do método interpretativo de Gregory K. Beale nos textos neotestamentários que citam a apostasia da congregação de Israel

| dc.description.abstract | A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar como os autores do Novo Testamento utilizaram o Antigo Testamento, especificamente no que diz respeito às citações de passagens que se referem à apostasia de alguns membros da congregação de Israel. A análise abrangerá todas as citações formais que relatam sobre a apostasia de alguns dos membros da referida congregação. Estas citações ocorrem em: Atos 7.42-43, 1 Coríntios 10.7, Hebreus 3.7-11, 3.15, 4.3, 4.5 e 4.7. Os textos do Antigo Testamento que foram citados nestas passagens do Novo Testamento, respectivamente, foram: Amós 5.25-27, Êxodo 32.6 e Salmo 95.7-11. A exegese das referidas citações abrangeu as seguintes análises: contexto do Novo Testamento, contexto do Antigo Testamento, uso da citação no judaísmo anterior e posterior, uso textual, uso da citação na literatura cristã primitiva, e por fim, uso interpretativo. Assim, a presente pesquisa defende que os autores do Novo Testamento respeitaram o contexto do Antigo Testamento ao efetuarem as citações referentes a apostasia de alguns membros da congregação de Israel e demonstra que tais citações foram utilizadas para advertir seus ouvintes, a fim de que eles não seguissem o exemplo dos apóstatas, os quais tiveram acesso à Palavra de Deus, porém esta não lhes aproveitou, pois não creram e não foram obedientes à voz de Deus, sendo que a consequência final foi terminarem debaixo do juízo divino com o próprio Deus se afastando deles. | |

| local.description.abstracten | The present research aims to analyze how the authors of the New Testament did use the Old Testament, specifically, with regard to the citation of passages that refer to the apostasy of some members from the congregation of Israel. The analysis will include all formal citations that report the apostasy of some of the members of the aforementioned congregation. These citations occur in: Acts 7.42-43, 1 Corinthians 10.7, Hebrews 3.7-11, 3.15, 4.3, 4.5 and 4.7. The Old Testament texts quoted in each of these New Testament passages were: Amos 5.25-27, Exodus 32.6 and Psalm 95.7-11. The exegesis of such citations included the following analyses: New Testament context, Old Testament context, use of the citation in earlier and later Judaism, textual use, use of the citation in early Christian literature, and finally, interpretative use. Thus, the present research argues that the New Testament writers respected the context of the Old Testament when they used citations referring to the apostasy of some members from the congregation of Israel. The study shows that such citations were used to warn the listeners, so that they would not follow the example of the apostates, who had access to the Word of God, but it did not benefit them because they did not believe and did not obey the voice of God. Therefore, the final consequence was that they ended up under divine judgment, when God himself moved away from them. | |
