In several countries, basic laws provide for these students to be enrolled in regular schools. However, for universal learning, action is needed, including the development of a material accessible to all students. This paper presents the development results of a learning support material aimed to include children with disabilities. This work presents a case study with the results of the project practice experience in the accessibility area, developed in the context of the classroom, within the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) undergraduate course in the Computing area. During the HCI course, students developed a learning support material for children in elementary education, based on the Universal Design for Learning concepts, which addresses each student’s abilities, regardless of their cognitive or physical disabilities. Experience has shown student engagement and involvement, not only because it is a real project to be implemented, but also because of the challenge in finding solutions in the production of accessible material that meets the different needs of the target audience.
