Abstract
Atualmente as empresas Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação (TIC) estão adotando políticas de retenção para seus funcionários. Esta medida, além de motivar o profissional a permanecer na empresa, visa uma melhor competividade de seus produtos e serviços frente ao mercado ao qual estão inseridas. Esta monografia explica ainda que se a empresa não adotar tais políticas, pode ser sucumbida pelos seus concorrentes e até fornecedores. As empresas de TICpodem sofrer com os custos de uma alta rotatividade em seu quadro de funcionários. A retenção profissional tem o objetivo de manter as pessoas dentro das corporações, através de políticas de retenção, pois desta maneira consegue-se manter o capital intelectual, prover segurança das informações sigilosas, incentivo à inovação e maior competitividade no mercado.
Currently companies of Information Technology and Communication (TIC) are adopting retention policies for their employees. TIC companies can suffer from the costs of a high turnover in its workforce. Retaining professional aims to keep people within corporations through retention policies, because this way one can maintain the intellectual capital, provide security of sensitive information, encouraging innovation and increased competitiveness in the Market.
