Botenas: um gesto de hiperbeleza

Abstract

This thesis comprises a set of works that bring to the context of art and aesthetic experience, discussions about current social concepts about gender and the body in the contemporary scenario in a critical way. In the present work, the authorial look of the researching artist, who investigates the Botenas series from materiality, is presented, presenting various aspects of construction of the works and continuing with the investigation as much as the theoretical and aesthetic crossings that influence its composition, as well as the context history to which it is inserted. The series was made public in the artist's first individual exhibition and therefore the works are also treated in the context of the exhibition.

Essa tese compreende um conjunto de obras que trazem ao contexto da arte e da experiência estética, discussões a respeito de conceitos sociais vigentes sobre gênero e corpo no cenário contemporâneo de uma forma crítica. No presente trabalho, é apresentado o olhar autoral da artista pesquisadora, que investiga a série Botenas a partir da materialidade, apresentando vários aspectos de construção das obras e seguindo com a investigação tanto quanto os atravessamentos teóricos e estéticos que influenciam sua composição, quanto o contexto histórico ao qual está inserida. A série foi a público na primeira exposição individual da artista e portanto as obras também são tratadas no contexto da exposição.
