An important agent of economy and job creation, the real estate market acts as a transformational element in the urban morphology and the way of living. In the past decade, the city of São Paulo was the site of important real estate production. In addition to its wide range of territory, this production had an important concentration in part of the south-west quadrant, in the surroundings of Av. Faria Lima and Av. Luis Carlos Berrini. This urban core, still in development, holds the population with the highest income in the city and unfolds the business corridor of big companies all based in modern corporate and high-tech buildings amid recreation areas. As a result of holding the main characteristics sought by "target” consumers of real estate agents, the region has relevant representation for the sector, which progressively seeks to offer products that meet the new demand. The temporality defined here constitutes a period of profound change in Brazil’s economy and certainly in the real estate sector, alongside significant restructuring of the offered product. The research focuses on the political, economic and conjunctural issues that affected the sector and evidences the real estate production of the study perimeter, which turned to the diversification and compacting of the enterprises. Deepening the study of the period as well as presenting the real estate developments bring a constant reading of the territorial morphology and the market itself, which increasingly changes due to consumers aspirations and entrepreneurial capacity of the construction industry.
